Kevin English

Kevin “E” English is being recognized for his Superior Bowling Ability.

English has been a member of the Butler County Bowling Association for 24 years and has been involved in organized bowling for 38 years. He has participated in twenty Butler County tournaments and gathered 10 championships.

English’s highest league average is 232 which he carried at Freeway Lanes. English has eight career 300 games as well as one 299 game, six games of 11 in a row and over 200 sanctioned 700 series. His highest series remains at 804.

Early in his bowling career, English received a bowling scholarship to Robert Morris university. English won the USBC sanctioned Moose Nationals Tournament all events scratch two times in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s, topping over 500 participants in each tournament. He also captured the Buddy Deluca scratch tournaments 5 times during this time period, finished runner-up twice in the WBUT tournament and has held a high average in nearly 30 leagues over the past 20 years. English also was one of the 5 team members to bowl the county high 3-game scratch series record of 3646. Another interesting feat is that English rolled perfect games in six different bowling establishments.

English currently lives in Ellwood City with his wife, Sara, and their daughter. He is employed as a buyer with Eaton Corporation.
